Local Work Shops
A big thanks to the Euroa Chamber of Business & Commerce ( visiteuroa.org.au ) , for supporting our series of short workshops for local businesses. We’ve had participants from a number of sectors including retail, insurance, engineering and the equine industry which demonstrates the diversity of business in the Euroa area. The workshops provided a forum to exchange ideas, share experiences and be open to new ways of thinking about age old topics. Leadership and management skills remain very popular, especially focussing on past leaders and our projections for the leaders of the future. With constant change now the new norm, with technological advances and changing expectations around the nature of work, we explored the question, “What kind of leader do I need to be, both now and in the future? “ We agreed that old models of authoritarian style leadership have little place in the future. Instead, leaders will need to be adaptable, empowering, and embracing technology whilst remaining people focussed. Easy, right!?
There are still a few places left for the last two workshops for this year. Click here for details and how to book
